Effective May 19, 2025, MRI, CT, PET, and Nuclear Medicine radiology services must be paid prior to your scheduled appointment. If payment is not received, your imaging appointment may be canceled or rescheduled. Exceptions include imaging ordered by JCMG Oncology.

Imaging uses a diagnostic tool that allows JCMG doctors to look inside patients to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Most imaging tests are easy and painless. The type of imaging used depends on symptoms and the part of the body being examined.

Imaging includes digital mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, 64 Slice CT (computerized axial tomography), high field MRI, wide bore MRI, ultrasound, bone density (DEXA), X-ray, and fluoroscopy. In addition, our radiologists can offer patients biopsy procedures using CT, ultrasound, and mammography.
