Jefferson City Medical Group to host a 30th Anniversary Celebration for the community.
Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG) will commemorate its 30th anniversary with a community celebration on Saturday, September 16. Since its establishment in 1993, JCMG has grown to be one of the largest independent multispecialty groups in the region with over 30 specialties, and 100 healthcare providers, serving over 80,000 patients annually.
JCMG invites the community to celebrate 30 years with a family-friendly event at JCMG’s Main Medical Building on Saturday, September 16. The Kids’ Zone will kick off the day at 3:00 p.m. featuring bounce houses, face painting, balloon characters, a 360-photo booth, and truck tours by Jefferson City Fire Department and Cole County EMS. Food trucks will be in attendance, and a concert by local band, Five Turn Knot, is scheduled from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
“The Mid-Missouri community has trusted JCMG with their health care for 30 years. This event is not only a celebration of JCMG’s milestone, but it is also an opportunity to thank our patients, employees, and community who have been integral to JCMG’s success,” said Jeff Patrick, M.D., JCMG president.
Jefferson City Medical Group was formed through the merging of several small, independent medical practices and remains an independent health care entity owned by local physicians.
“JCMG was founded with the mission to bring quality, patient-centered health care to mid-Missouri. 30 years later, we are still committed to providing the very best in compassionate, comprehensive care for our patients,” said George Carr, M.D., JCMG board member and founding physician.
JCMG’s 30th Anniversary Celebration will take place outdoors at its Main Medical Building located at 1241 W. Stadium Blvd. in Jefferson City. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.jcmg.org/jcmg-30th-anniversary-celebration.
