“Although we have only lived in Jefferson City for a short while, it is evident we’ve made the right move. Since relocating from New York City, we’ve found many benefits to living in the Midwest. Because the cost of living is so low, we have been able to build our dream home in what is considered to be an excellent school district. There are many family-friendly activities in and around Jefferson City as well. While the parks, pools and walking trails are great during the warm months; the library, Barnes and Noble and mall offer many indoor opportunities for entertainment during the cooler months. Jefferson City offers its own unique blend of shopping, dining and nightlife and is also in close proximity to other culinary, retail and entertainment venues in both Columbia, MO and the Lake of the Ozarks.
