Tammy’s career in healthcare began in 2007 as a Licensed Practical Nurse and has grown through expanded roles, culminating in her becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Cox College in Springfield, Missouri.

Over the years, she has gained experience in diverse clinical settings, which has shaped her ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her professional goal is to ensure that individuals in rural communities have access to timely, high-quality healthcare without the need to travel far from home.

Caring for others has always come naturally to Tammy as the oldest child in her family, a calling that continues to guide her work today. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and supported in their health decisions.

Outside of JCMG, Tammy loves exploring new places, foods, and cultures. She’s an avid reader and is rarely without a book or Kindle in hand. She enjoys beach days and spending time with her daughters, nieces, nephews, and her two pups: Rosie and Finn.

In addition to caring for patients at JCMG Express Care, Tammy also serves on the Board of Directors for the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) in Callaway County. Through this non-profit, she extends her care for others by supporting and empowering individuals in her community who have been affected by domestic violence or sexual assault.
