I have wanted to be in healthcare for as long as I can remember. I have always found human anatomy and physiology to be incredible; incorporating pathophysiology during nursing school was the “cherry on top.” I love to learn, and healthcare is a field that revolves around learning.

I’m a Central Missouri native and grew up in St. Elizabeth. I attended St. Elizabeth R-IV from K-12. It is a very small school about 30 miles south of Jefferson City. I graduated with a total of 17 people in my class. From there, I attended Lincoln University in Jefferson City where I obtained my BSN in 2019, followed by earning my MSN/FNP from Herzing University in April 2022.

As a family nurse practitioner at JCMG, it is my goal to keep patients out of the ED and ICU by preventing illness and disease. Much of this will stems from proper patient education and screenings. Through continued education in areas of women’s health and weight management, my goal is to expand this care. My entire nursing background is in critical care, both the emergency department and intensive care unit. I have witnessed firsthand how poor medical care and treatment can lead to devastating, and sometimes fatal, results.

My second goal is to be a person and provider that patients can trust, respect, and rely on to care for themselves and their family. Being chosen to care for the health of a patient is truly an honor.

In my free time, I enjoy exercising, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I also thoroughly enjoy being a guardian with the Central Missouri Honor Flight. My fiancé, Josh, and I enjoy spending our summer days in our boat on the Osage River and we have two Golden Retrievers (Ty and Whiskey).
