Dr. Rezwan Islam serves as a primary care physician to promote disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education, as well as diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of health care settings.
Dr. Islam joins JCMG from the Fulton Medical Clinic, where he has served as Medical Director since 2007. He also serves as a Physician for the Missouri State School for the Deaf (2008 to present), Supervising Physician for Westminster College Health Center (2009 to present), and Supervising Physician for William Woods College Health Center (2010 to present). He is the former Medical Director for the Fulton Nursing & Rehab Center and previously served as Chief of Staff at Callaway Community Hospital.
After spending his later childhood in Fulton, he graduated from Westminster College in 1997 and completed medical school in 2004, at Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherlands.
He and his wife have been married for over 20 years and have four children. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys reading, participating in sports (particularly weightlifting, soccer, and tennis) and biking on the Katy Trail.
