Having grown up in Jefferson City, McKenzie is deeply committed to serving the community she knows and loves. She takes pride in caring for the people and families who make this area special, and her roots inspire her dedication to improving the health and quality of life for every patient she meets.

Outside of JCMG, McKenzie enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her Goldendoodle, Davie. She loves being outdoors, staying active, traveling, and exploring new places—experiences that help her maintain balance and wellness, values she brings to her work every day.

McKenzie Hamacher works as a nurse practitioner within JCMG Gastroenterology. Gastroenterologists assist patients with issues affecting the digestive system including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.
