Mary Faurot, MD

Dr. Mary Faurot entered college intending to become an engineer. However, during her academic journey, she realized she wanted a career that would utilize her passion for problem-solving in a more personal way.

Following the completion of her Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame, she furthered her education at Creighton University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Faurot completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

As an obstetrician/gynecologist with the Women’s Clinic of JCMG, Dr. Faurot enjoys taking care of women through every phase of life. “My goal as a physician is to provide collaborative, evidence-based, and individualized care that honors my patients’ goals and values,” Dr. Faurot says.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Faurot spends her time dining at local restaurants, traveling with family, participating in events at her church, and staying active. She enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, and running.

Dr. Faurot is an obstetrician and gynecologist providing general OB/GYN care including well-woman care, prenatal care, laparoscopic & minimally invasive surgery, and vaginal surgery.
