Dr. Stroud was drawn to family medicine for the opportunity to care for patients across all stages of life while building long-term, trusted relationships. She believes preventive care is the foundation of good health and focuses on helping patients understand their health risks, screening needs, and daily choices that can influence long-term wellness.
Dr. Stroud’s approach is centered around patient care and education. She emphasizes evidence-based screening, lifestyle optimization, and early risk reduction, partnering with patients to create practical, sustainable plans that fit their individual goals and daily lives. By empowering patients with knowledge and clear guidance, she helps them take an active role in managing chronic conditions and maintaining overall quality of life.
A lifelong resident of mid-Missouri, Dr. Stroud grew up in Harrisburg and values serving the community she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and animals, including her dog, two cats, and two miniature horses. Her hobbies include painting, playing video and board games, and staying involved with her church and animal welfare efforts.
