As both an internist and a pediatrician, Dr. Johnson provides non-surgical comprehensive care for patients of all ages. He serves as a pediatric primary care physician, promoting disease prevention, health maintenance, patient education, as well as diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of health care settings. A multi-time winner of City’s Best Doctor, Dr. Johnson is one of the most-loved family doctors in mid-Missouri.
As both an internist and pediatrician, Dr. Alfred Johnson is well loved in the Jefferson City community. A repeat winner of the Jefferson City’s Best award for Best Pediatrician/Physician, Dr. Johnson has been serving Mid Missouri families health needs for nearly 15 years. Dr. Johnson, who is trained in both pediatrics and internal medicine, splits his time at JCMG the two populations that he loves: children and adults. As a physician, Johnson says his goal is to treat everyone like a family member or close friend while interacting with them in a way that provokes change.
Dr. Johnson is happily married to his beautiful wife, Ebony and has four wonderfully blessed children. Active in his church and community, Dr. Johnson loves spending time with his family and is well known as a “sneakerhead”, sporting his signature look of sneakers, a bowtie, and a smile.
