Bio for Ila Morrow, Licensed Clinic Social Worker

Ila Morrow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received a Master of Social Work in December of 2012 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ila continued her education by completing a Graduate Certificate in Military Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December of 2013. In 2014, Ila completed Behavioral Health Consultant Certification at the St. Louis Behavioral Health Institute.

Since obtaining her clinical license, Ila has worked in a variety of mental health and substance abuse treatment settings. Working with all ages, Ila has gained proficiency with a wide range of populations to include individuals, families, probation and parole, military service personnel and their families, geriatric, substance use/abuse, post-partum depression, residential substance abuse treatment center populations, and eating disorders. Ila has also worked as an adjunct professor at Columbia College and Westminster College.

Ila works with both adolescents and adults doing individual and group therapy. She has clinical interest and experience in the treatment of eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, self-harm, and mood and anxiety disorders. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Health, Military Social Work, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Biofeedback.
