Heather Evans, FNP, offers treatment to patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, addressing the health needs of the entire family. She provides acute care for short-term illnesses and injuries, as well as ongoing management for chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, Heather emphasizes the importance of preventive care through regular check-ups, vaccinations, health screenings, and wellness exams. She also enjoys helping patients make healthy lifestyle changes, such as nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness, to promote long-term health.
Heather has had a passion for healthcare for as long as she can remember. She first became a nurse because she wanted to provide education, support, and compassionate care that could improve her patients’ lives. Over twenty years later, she is still driven by the same motivations as a Nurse Practitioner.
Her goal as a provider is simple: to help her patients achieve lasting health and well-being. Her holistic approach means she doesn’t just focus on the symptoms but looks at the whole picture, including physical, emotional, mental, and social health. She also strongly believes in patient-centered care, involving patients in their healthcare decisions, and encouraging them to make healthy choices. Heather is passionate about developing strong relationships and building trust with her patients. She understands that everyone’s health journey is unique and strives to provide personalized care that truly meets each person’s needs.
Heather comes from a military family and was born in California but raised in the Midwest. She moved to Missouri to be closer to family in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Heather and her husband have three married children and seven wonderful grandchildren, and they have now filled their home with several beloved pets.
Heather is actively involved in her church, where she enjoys serving in various roles, particularly working with children and young people.
