Emily Garrison, DO

Dr. Garrison was drawn to medicine through her lifelong passion for working with children and families cultivated while serving as a nanny and working at a local preschool, as well as volunteering in her community. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, before completing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. She also gained clinical training in Phoenix, Arizona before completing her Pediatric residency at the University of Missouri in Columbia, equipping her to care for patients across all stages of life.

She has a great interest in pediatric and adolescent care and enjoys helping children grow and thrive from newborn through their teenage years. Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic condition management, and supporting the mental and emotional well-being of her patients. Dr. Garrison values building lasting relationships with families and strives to be a trusted partner in helping her patients and their families stay healthy, active, and supported.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Garrison enjoys spending time at home with her family. She and her husband, Dr. Dallas Garrison, have one son and share their home with two dogs and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and baking.

Dr. Emily Garrison is a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician who treats children from birth to age 21. She focuses on providing comprehensive care for every child, ensuring they are healthy and safe. During routine check-ups, she screens for common childhood illnesses, evaluates developmental milestones, administers age-appropriate vaccinations, and offers anticipatory guidance to both the child and their family. In addition to well-child visits, she conducts examinations for ill children and provides guidance on basic wound care, ensuring they receive the appropriate treatment and care. Dr. Garrison’s values building strong relationships with families, offering guidance through every stage, and serving as a trusted, compassionate resource to support long-term health and well-being.
