Dwight Jones, FNP

Dwight’s nursing career started as a plan to volunteer at his local fire department. During his paramedic training, he realized the medical field was his true calling and began his journey to becoming a nurse practitioner. Dwight is double Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Emergency Nurse Practitioner with years of experience in both settings. He is also a Registered Respiratory Therapist and has a passion for caring for patients with RSV, Asthma, and COPD. Dwight’s goal as a nurse practitioner is to provide the best evidence-based care available and to demonstrate love and respect to his patients. He has served on the National Disaster Medical Team for over 20 years, traveling on many deployments including Hurricane Katrina, the Earthquake in Haiti, and multiple COVID-19 missions to hospitals around the country. Dwight enjoys spending time with his children and 15 grandchildren, hiking, playing piano, volunteering at his church, and going on medical mission trips.

As a nurse practitioner, Dwight treats patients of all ages in the express care clinic for various acute illnesses and injuries. He can treat immediate, non-emergent health concerns, in addition to providing wellness services and immunizations. Patients may be seen for any conditions that are non-life threatening but cannot wait for a doctor’s appointment.
