About

As a provider at JCMG, Dr. Hulse is committed to building strong doctor-patient relationships grounded in shared decision-making. He strives to empower his patients with the knowledge and tools they need to take charge of their health with confidence.

His interest in healthcare started early, but it was during his second year of college, after taking a health course, that he knew he wanted to become a physician. He was drawn to the way that medicine combines science and skill with communication, leadership, teamwork, and a deep commitment to service, which set him on the path to becoming a healthcare professional.

Outside of work, Dr. Hulse spends as much time as he can with his wife, their three children, and their dog. Their family time is usually spent outdoors, hiking, biking, or just exploring. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he has been actively involved in his church, having served in leadership roles including Church Primary Teacher, Sunday School President, and Elders Quorum President. Dr. Hulse has also volunteered in his community, providing patient transportation and academic tutoring, reflecting his strong commitment to service and care.
