About
Originally from Idaho, Dr. Jenson came to Missouri to attend Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Jenson’s interest in the medical field began early in college when he became an EMT. His experiences working and volunteering in operating rooms only further interested Dr. Jenson in pursuing the operative field in medical school. After his residency, Dr. Jenson completed a fellowship in foregut and bariatric surgery, and currently specializes in acid-reflux surgery and hiatal hernia repair. As a general surgeon with JCMG, Dr. Jenson’s goal is to create a flourishing surgical practice and continue JCMG’s mission to put patient care above all else. Dr. Jenson is happily married with five children. When he’s not in clinic or the OR, he enjoys spending time outdoors and golfing.
