Amber Abeln’s services include treating various skin cancers and multiple dermatologic skin disorders. Her special focus is Aesthetic Anti-Aging procedures. Amber is certified in Neurotoxin Injections (Botox) treating crows feet, eleven lines, frown lines and correction of submental fullness. She is experienced with dermal fillers correcting mid-face volume loss, laugh line correction, and lip contouring.
Amber has an undergraduate degree in nursing from Maryville University and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from University Missouri-St. Louis. Although Amber enjoys treating all skin conditions, she has a special interest in aesthetic and procedural dermatology. Prior to coming to JCMG, she accrued excellent surgical skills assisting in the operating room. In 2014, Amber started her own cosmetic business performing procedures that included injection of neurotoxins and dermal fillers to correct fine lines and wrinkles. In 2016, she moved from St. Louis to mid-Missouri to pursue her passion, cosmetic dermatology. Amber spends much of her free time fishing with her husband, Ben, and her son, Cole.
Amber received a Masters Science in Nursing from University Missouri-St. Louis and Bachelors Science of Nursing from Maryville University.
Amber is a Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. She is also a certified Critical Care RN, certified in Botox and Dermal fillers and Advanced Life Support.
