UnitedHealthcare Benefit Update from JCM

JCMG and UnitedHealthcare (UHC) have completed contract negotiations, and an agreement has been reached. Your in-network services at JCMG have NOT changed.

What Patients Need to Know

  • On September 23, 2025 JCMG and United Healthcare completed contract negotiations.
  • With this agreement, patients with UHC plans will continue to be in-network with JCMG providers and services. 
  • Your in-network services at JCMG have not changed, and there will not be gaps in coverage. 

What if I Received a letter?

  • Some JCMG patients with Medicare Advantage plans may have received a letter from United Healthcare stating JCMG will go out of network with United Healthcare.
  • This notice is required by law to notify patients that JCMG’s UHC Medicare Advantage contract was set to expire.
  • JCMG and UHC reached a new agreement before the previous contract expired. Patients with UHC Medicare Advantage plans will continue to be in-network with JCMG providers and services. Your in-network services at JCMG have not changed.
