JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Jefferson City Medical Group is pleased to welcome Tamara Hopkins, M.D., who joins JCMG Oncology & Hematology on July 1.
Together with her team, Dr. Hopkins serves Mid-Missouri with a combined total of over 100 years’ experience treating cancer and caring for patients. After graduating medical school at the University of Missouri in 1997, Dr. Hopkins completed her residency at the University of Missouri and her fellowship at the Ellis-Fischel Cancer Center in Columbia. Dr. Hopkins is board certified by the American Board of Hematology and Oncology. Prior to joining JCMG, Dr. Hopkins owned and operated a private oncology practice In Jefferson City for over ten years.
JCMG offers advanced, comprehensive cancer care to Mid-Missouri, and Dr. Hopkins is pleased to become part of the group’s cancer care team. Patients can access medical oncology, surgical oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, laboratory, pharmacy, and a wide variety of imaging and radiology services all under one roof. JCMG’s oncology nurse navigator collaborates with providers and serves as a central point of contact for patients and their families through their cancer diagnosis and treatment journey.
Dr. Hopkins will practice with oncologist Shadi Haddadin, M.D. at the JCMG Stadium Medical Campus at 1241 W. Stadium Boulevard. JCMG Oncology/Hematology is located on the second floor of the medical building.
