Like the name sounds, Vasculaze by InMode™ is a non-invasive skin treatment that targets vascular lesions. These are typically reddish skin irregularities and abnormal blood vessels. At Steffen Med Spa, we use this advanced laser technology to target hemoglobin found in these lesions without affecting the adjacent healthy skin. Treated lesions include capillary malformations, hemangiomas, port wine stains, and abnormal veins and blood vessels.

The procedure doesn’t take long and has minimal down time. Sometimes a series of treatment is necessary to achieve full resolution. Sessions are usually 5 – 8 weeks apart to avoid rebound growth of new blood vessels. Sunscreen is essential for the weeks following treatment and heavy exercise should be avoided for a few days after treatment.
