Morpheus8 is an incredible device which we use at Steffen Med Spa to tighten the skin and improve its appearance using microneedling and radiofrequency in the same device. This helps patients look younger, smoother, and more vibrant after a series of treatments. It has been proven effective for the treatment of stretch marks, scars, loose skin, and wrinkles. The treatments are certainly not as dramatic as facelift, necklift, blepharoplasty, tummy tech, etc. However, Morpheus8 is the next best thing. The procedure is nonsurgical with minimal downtime. Swelling and bruising is usually minimal and shortlived.

The combination of microneedling and radiofrequency helps increase collagen production and can also be used to destroy some superficial unwanted fat. It is safe for most skin types. At Steffen Med Spa, we use topical numbing and some medications by mouth to optimize comfort during the procedure. For body treatments, we use “tumescent solution” to provide additional comfort.

Another interesting application of Morpheus is in treatment of “hyperhidrosis” or excessive sweating. Morpheus 8 can be used to permanently correct excessive sweating in the armpits. The most popular areas are of treatment are the face, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, neck, jowls, under-eyes, cheeks, arms, tummy, and above the knees.
