Dr. Hinds diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. Conditions include difficulty swallowing, acid reflux, Barrett’s Esophagus, ulcers, hepatitis, Colitis, Crohn’s Disease/ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, and abdominal pain.
She has also received advanced training and brings a new procedure to Jefferson City: Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). Dr. Hinds also performs Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures.
Dr. Hinds is married with two kids, and in her free time enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, participating in fitness classes and staying active in her church community.
Dr. Hinds attended medical school at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Baylor Scott & White where she was named Outstanding Gastroenterology Fellow at Central Texas Veterans Health Care System.
