Nonsmokers have a 20-30% greater chance of developing lung cancer if they are exposed to secondhand smoke at home or work.

Detecting lung cancer early and having it surgically removed has shown to improve five-year survival rates to greater than 70%. JCMG Radiology CT lung screening in high-risk patients has shown to decrease cancer death by up to 20%.
