COVID-19 Vaccines for the Moderately to Severely Immunocompromised

Moderately to severely immunocompromised patients or patients aged 65 years and older are eligible for an increased amount of bivalent COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Moderna: Moderately to severely immunocompromised people aged 6 months and older are recommended to receive 3 doses of Moderna bivalent vaccine, the second dose 4 weeks after the first and the third dose 4 weeks after the second. If the person has previously received 1 or 2 doses of a monovalent vaccine, it is recommended they receive Moderna bivalent doses until they have received 3 total doses, each dose 4 weeks after the previous dose. If the person has previously received 3 doses of a monovalent vaccine, it is recommended they receive 1 Moderna bivalent dose, 8 weeks after the previous dose.
Pfizer: Moderately to severely immunocompromised people aged 6 months and older are recommended to receive 3 doses of Pfizer bivalent vaccine, the second dose 3 weeks after the first and the third dose 8 weeks after the second. If the person has previously received 1 or 2 doses of a monovalent vaccine or 1 dose of Novavax or Janssen, it is recommended they receive Moderna bivalent doses until they have received 3 total doses, each dose 4 weeks after the previous dose. If the person has previously received 3 doses of a monovalent vaccine, it is recommended they receive 1 Moderna bivalent dose, 8 weeks after the previous dose.

Walk-In
The COVID Vaccine Clinic is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The clinic is located on the second floor of the JCMG Medical Building at 1241 W Stadium Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
